Some Honours Trivia:

  
  • Most Cups won = 12 by W Donaldson.
  • Most wins of a single cup is 8 achieved by J McCree (Woodgate Cup between 1953 & 1961) and P J Gray (Lovell Salver between 1991 and 2011). 
  • Longest period from first win to last win is 26 years by B J Steele who won his first Cup (the Woodgate) in 1969 and his last (the Mond Cup) in 1995. Also by Phil Mills - Adams Salver in 1983 and again in 2009.(*See note below.)
  • Most wins = 30 by P J Gray
  • Most consecutive wins = 6 by J McCree and Will Donaldson who both held the Woodgate Cup from 1953 to 1958 and 2006 to 2011 respectively.
  • Most trophies won in a single year = 6 by W Donaldson who, in 2006, won the Chapman, Cook, GOTY, Mond, Jubilee and Woodgate trophies.
  
 
  • There are 11 singles 18 hole trophies (8 full handicap, one 7/8ths handicap and 2 scratch). 
  • There are 4 singles 36 hole trophies.
  • There are two pairs trophies.
  • There is one team trophy and one matchplay trophy. 
  • There is one multiple round trophy (GOTY).
